Unauthorised co-formulants: Regulatory Deadline 24th March 2023
On 3rd March 2021, the European Commission published Regulation (EU) 2021/383 amending Annex III to Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 listing co-formulants which are not accepted for inclusion in plant protection products. It lists the co-formulants which are banned in the composition of plant protection products and adjuvants. The Regulation entered into force on 24 March 2021.
Member states must review the composition of the products currently authorised and withdraw or amend by 24 March 2023. This deadline is fast approaching.
