New GB Active Substance Open Invitations
The HSE UK published a Biocides Bulletin this week with some important information on keeping active substances in the Great Britain Review Programme. Over 50 active substance/product type combinations that were being evaluated in the EU Review Programme have not yet been supported in GB. The HSE has created open invitations to provide an opportunity to submit a notification by the deadline (12 November 2022) to keep active substances in the GB Review Programme. If a notification is not received by then, a non-approval decision will be made, and biocidal products containing such active substances for the relevant product types will have to be removed from the GB market.
