The Kerona Team is Expanding

We are delighted to announce that three new team members have joined the Kerona Scientific team in Ireland and in Spain.

Lisa Gleichmann and Oisin Kearns have joined the team in Dublin.

Lisa has a BAgrSc in Agricultural Science from University College Dublin and a Masters degree (MAgrSc) also from UCD.  Lisa completed her postgraduate research as part of a Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine funded project in the area of dairy nutritional strategies. At Kerona, Lisa prepares product dossiers and risk assessments and is also involved in environmental modelling and ecotoxicological risk assessments. Lisa is fluent in English and German.

Oisin joins Kerona after graduating from Dublin City University with a BSc in Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Oisin spent a 6-month internship at Kerona in 2021, where he gained useful experience with preparing Poison Centre Notifications, IUCLID dossiers and study documentation. At Kerona, Oisin prepares product dossiers and risk assessments for biocides and plant protection products, from national biocide applications under transitional measures, IUCLID data summaries, environmental modelling and ecotoxicological risk assessments.

Verónica Belenguer Saura joins the Kerona Scientific team based in Spain. Verónica has a degree in Agronomy from UPV Valencia and a Masters degree with a specialisation in Agro and Food Industries. Verónica is an Expert in Integrated Management (Environment, Quality, Health & Safety) having obtained her qualification from the University of Murcia. Verónica has over 7 years’ experience as regulatory affairs specialist at Bayer CropScience S.L., Sipcam Inagra S.A. and Spachem S.L. in addition to 8 years as quality technician in various agrochemical companies. Verónica is a native Spanish speaker and is fluent in English. She also speaks Portuguese, French and Italian.

In Kerona, Verónica will be responsible for supporting clients in Spain and Portugal and throughout the European region in meeting their regulatory needs.
