The Pesticide Registration & Control Division (PRCD) under the Department of Agriculture, Food & the Marine (DAFM) in Ireland are currently collecting information on plant protection products (PPPs) on the Irish market. Under Regulation (EC) No 1185/2009 concerning statistics on pesticides, each EU Member State is required to report statistics on PPPs placed on the market. The PRCD is tasked with collecting and reporting these statistics for the ROI and are currently requesting that any company listed as an Authorisation holder or Marketing company with a PPP registered on their system for 2024 submit the necessary information. If your plant protection product is on their registered list for 2024 you must input the imported, exported, manufactured and marketed quantities (kilograms or litres). A member of the PRCD should have contacted you via email with the respective excel file to be filled in. However, if this applies to your company and product and you haven’t been contacted, you should reach out to the PRCD to rectify this. Also, in the event that any products are missing from the list, they may be added to this file along with the other aforementioned information.
The deadline to complete this submission is Friday April 4th, 2025, at 5 pm.
