The latest edition of our BPR Vademecum on the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR) (EU) No 528/2012 is available in both print and electronic forms. Our intention in publishing this Vademecum is to provide you with a handy reference guide on all aspects of the Regulation.
The latest update provides information on active substance approvals and covers recent developments in many areas such as endocrine disrupting substances.
The Vademecum starts with a summary of the implementation procedures of the BPR and provides a list of the active substances in the Review Programme to date and information on the relevant guidance documents. This “user guide” is followed by a copy of the consolidated BPR Regulation, which provides the regulatory framework concerning the making available on the market and the use of biocidal products within the EU.
The BPR Vademecum is currently produced in both a booklet format and a digital version that can be downloaded from our website. The digital version is fully hyperlinked so the user can read and download active substance legislation and assessment reports, guidance documents, and supporting regulations.
