Since the 1st September 2015, a biocidal product can only be made available on the EU market for sale, supply and use where the active substance(s) contained in the product is supplied by a supplier that is included in the Article 95 list for the product type to which the product belongs.
Authorisation/notification holders making biocidal products available on the EU market must produce documentation to demonstrate a clear, auditable trail showing the supply of the active substance used in the product is from the Article 95 list or that they are engaged with ECHA to become listed on the Article 95 list.
You can check whether your supplier is on the Article 95 list on the ECHA website.
