The Biocidal Products Regulation, No 528/2012, provides the regulatory framework concerning the making available on the market and the use of biocidal products within the European Union.

The June 2024 edition of our BPR Vademecum provides you with a handy reference on all aspects of the Regulation. The 175-page A5-size booklet begins with a user guide that includes an overview of the key procedures and requirements of the BPR, a table outlining the current regulatory status of all biocidal active substances, and information on the relevant guidance documents.  This is followed by a full copy of the consolidated Regulation. This latest edition now includes contact details for the competent authorities of every EU Member State as well as information on ECHA fees.

By combining all this information in a single booklet, the BPR Vademecum has proved useful to both industry and regulatory authorities alike.
