In accordance with Articles 6.9, 7.2.(b), 8.9, 9.5 and 11.(b) of the Fertilising Products Regulation [FPR] (EU) 2019/2009, manufacturers, authorized representatives and distributors placing fertilising products on the Belgian market or importers and distributors who package or repackage an EU fertilising product must submit documentation to the Federal Public Service (FPS) Public Health Food Chain Safety and Environment – Directorate-General Animal, Plant and Food (DGAPF) – Plant Protection Products and Fertilisers Department. The aim of this transmission is to provide an overview of the production of fertilising products on the Belgian market in order to identify potential risks to the safety of the food chain. Initially, the information gathered will be compiled for statistical purposes.
